Dear Christland Church,
I hope all of you are doing well during this difficult time. As you know, health experts and government authorities continue to make new guidelines to curb the outbreak of COVID-19 (coronavirus) in the United States. Therefore, we have updated our approach which is outlined below.
We will resume public services (9am & 11am) beginning May 31. During our services, we will be abiding by the health guidelines issued by the state of Texas. For people who do not feel comfortable attending a Sunday service, they are encouraged to livestream the service from our website.
Our building will be open during normal business hours, Monday through Thursday from 8am-4pm.
If you have any specific needs, or you know of anyone in the Christland community who does, please feel free to reach out to your small group leader.
Almost all of the ongoing expenses for Christland Church will continue. If Christland is your church home, please be faithful and consistent in your tithes and offerings so that we are able to continue in the things Jesus has asked of us and, when this disruption is over, we are still able to move forward effectively.
At this time, the most convenient way to give is through our new online giving platform called Tithe.ly. For information on how to get started, click this link: Giving Options
Finally, please work hard to stay connected in your small group. Make an effort to talk to friends as social distancing can leave us feeling lonely. We will get through this together, and I trust our faith and relationships will be stronger for having endured it in community.
In the coming weeks, I want to ask you to seek God through personal Bible reading, worship, and prayer. I believe Father intends to bring spiritual life to our church and community during these tough days. May you sense his presence with you at all times. Perhaps you are able to meditate on these words from God in Psalm 46:10 "'Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!' The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress."
Love you all,
