Christland Church was planted out of Vine Church in Carbondale, IL. Those on the church planting team moving to College Station started visiting the BCS area from Fall of 2016 through Spring of 2017. Every member of the team feels called to Texas and committed to a new home. Texans and Aggies alike made everyone feel immediately welcomed during their travels to College Station. In February of 2017, trainings for the team began. As the team fell in love with the area, they started to inform their bosses of their future plans and put their houses on the market. Moving vans rolled into College Station in June of 2017. Christland Church is a non-denominational church planted for the sake of all people in the BCS area in the hope that they would know and love Jesus. We continually marvel at how God uses ordinary people to build His Church, and over the years it has been so clear that God's faithfulness has far exceeded any of our wildest dreams or most well-thought plans.
