Our Vision for Kids At Christland Church

We want your kids to have the same kind of experience that adults have at Christland Church, in a way that is fun, relevant, and easy for them to understand.

At Christland, we believe Jesus has called us to cultivate a community of kids who know and experience that God is real; living and active. We want them to learn how to follow Jesus in a safe, fun environment, and to build strong friendships with other kids. We want Jesus to transform boys, girls, and their friends into the likeness of Jesus Christ.

We know family plays the most important role in the discipleship of children, and we want to be a place where families learn, grow, and find encouragement.

Sarah Kastelein
Kid's Program Director

Sarah is the volunteer Kids Director and is responsible for coordinating and implementing a creative curriculum, developing friendly and well-trained volunteers, and organizing interactive classrooms for the kids of Christland.

Our different classrooms:

Nursery: Infant to walking

Lil' Wranglers: Walking to 3 years

Rangers: 3 years to Kindergarten

Aggies: 1st Grade to 6th Grade

Here's what to expect!

Bible Teaching

Beginning at 18 months, we use a selection of Bible-based curriculum to provide a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate way for the kids to learn God's truth from the Bible. As children grow up, we help them learn how to apply God's word to real-life situations and challenges.

Friendship

We want your kids to build great friendships at Christland - the kinds of friends who will encourage and strengthen them as they develop in their relationship with God.

Prayer

We believe it is important to model and teach kids how to pray and expect God to impact them. We hope that this will be just the start of your kids learning to talk to God.

Worship

Our classes will worship at a level appropriate to the child's stage of development. Kids will learn modern worship songs like those sung in the adult service.

Our kids program is a safe and secure place where children are loved and accepted because of who God has made them and is making them to be. And most of all it is a place where kids have fun!
